Swimwear of the Russian national team Sergei Makov is disqualified for doping

Russian swimmer Sergey Makov is disqualified for two years for violation of anti-doping rules, the press service of the International Swimming Federation (Fina) informs.

Makov’s positive doping industry was recorded on October 12, 2013 during the stage of the World Cup in Moscow. In its sample, Ostarin is detected - the drug refers to selective adrogen receptor modulators and is used to increase muscle mass.

The athlete will be able to resume participation in competitions on October 11, 2015.

Makov, who specializes in his back swimming, was temporarily suspended from the competition on January 20, when the doping test was opened.

The athlete, as part of the Russian team in swimming, set a world record in a mixed relay at the World Cup in Moscow and won bronze of the Universiade in Chinese Shenzhen.
