Real estate tax of citizens can grow three times

Municipalities can get the right to increase the tax rate on real estate of individuals, the newspaperVedomosti writes.

According to the newspaper, the transition to a new tax base led to the fact that the amount of housing tax could be tripled, so it was decided to gradual growth in the tax burden (20% per year).

According to the vice-governor of the Moscow Region Alexander Chupakov, the Moscow Region region proposed to increase the maximum rate by 3 times. It is also emphasized that such a calculation of the tax burden did not arrange regions.

Discussion of tax size parameters is planned at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes on Monday, September 22.
