In St. Petersburg, the authorities refused to coordinate the march of peace, and the organizers decided to hold a procession from the Gorky metro with the Kazan Cathedral. As a result, one of the most massive in the history of the city of inconsistent anti -war performances: more than a thousand people passed through the Trinity bridge, from two to three thousand took part in the national gathering. Among them were opponents of the march of the world. The New Russia and St. George ribbons who came with the flags were not going to arrange provocations, as they also advocate peace. Throughout the area near the Kazan Cathedral, there were discussions about the past and about the post -war future of Ukraine and Donbass.
Police officers warned the audience about the illegality of the public event, however, only several provocateurs were detained from mass detentions and acceleration, as well as several participants in the action that came out with posters.
