The new scene of Alexandrinka launches a children's subscription

The new scene of the Alexandrinsky Theater and the Obscura Camera Support Fund is launched by a children's subscription dedicated to modern academic music.

The School of New Music Subscriber consists of a series of interactive concerts and master classes for children. Listeners get acquainted with modern academic music performed by the Petersburg Ensemble ensemble , Russian composers and media artists tell the children about the construction of musical works, teach to listen and perceive new musical material.

The project has no analogues in Russia and is the first experience of comprehensive, systemic family education in the field of modern academic music.

On September 30, the subscription will solemnly open the project curator Anna Infantyeva and an invited expert, composer Boris Filanovsky.

In the commemoration of the first concert of the subscription - “Duel of Composers” - the composition of the classic composer and “answer” to him from the composer of the modern. The essays will be performed by the Ensemble and Irina Shnerova (harpoons), conductor Fedor Lednev.

The performance will be supplemented by the master class of the composer Anatoly Korolev, who will show how works from different eras interact with each other, and will answer the questions of the audience.
