The Air Force of France subjected the Islamic State with the first bombardment on September 19. Paris announced that he would strike only in Iraqi territory. In the UK, there is now a discussion of the issue of joining the coalition of countries fighting terrorists in Iraq and Syria. Australia directs its combat aircraft to the operation area.

The purpose of the first 19 American blows with the use of attack aircraft, bombers and missiles of the Tomagavk type (according to some reports, about fifty were released) were facilities in the Raqqa city in the northeast of Syria and not far from the Syrian-Iraq border. Aviation of the Air Force and the US Navy participated in the air raids. According to the representative of the Pentagon, all the planes successfully returned to their bases after completing a combat mission. He did not report any specific details, explaining that the operation was ongoing. Separate strikes were inflicted on positions related to Al-Qaeda of the Khorasan group in the Syrian province of Aleppo. Independent observers declare several dozen killed militants and at least eight dead civilians.

Official Damascus said that he was warned by Washington about the bombing of Syrian territory a few hours before they began. The operation was welcomed by the Syrian opposition, which, however, urged Western countries to continue to put pressure on the regime of the current Syrian president Bashar al -Assad.

In a special statement, Russia called the bombing of Syrian territory a violation of international law. The statement states that such operations require consultations with the UN Security Council and the Syrian government.

According to the Hurriet newspaper, they were exchanged for the militants of the Islamic State, and this secret operation was led by the Turkish intelligence agency. Recep Erdogan, the president supporting the Syrian opposition of Turkey, confirmed the fact of a "secret rescue operation", but officials do not comment on the details, saying only that ransom for hostages was not paid.

On the territory of Turkey, more than 130 thousand refugees from Syria are already located, who were forced to leave their homes due to the promotion of the Islamic State detachments, threatening to "kill all the infidels." This was stated on Tuesday by the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Numan Kurtulmus. A day earlier, the official number of Kurdish refugees was 104 thousand people. At the same time, the Kurdistan (RPK) terrorist worker, declared in Turkey, calls for young Kurds to sign up in armed detachments to combat radical Islamists in Syria. A truce has been operating between Ankara and RPK since last year, however, negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the Kurdish problem in Turkey have not yet brought results.
