As it became known to COLTA.RU, the chairman of the Green Party faction in the European parliament Rebbek Harms on Thursday September 25, did not allow the border of Russia. Rebecca Harms became the first deputy of the European Parliament in the history of relations between Russia and the EU, which was banned from entry into the Russian Federation

On the evening of September 25, Rebbek Harms landed at Sheremetyevo Airport. Despite her diplomatic passport, she was detained in border control. After three hours of waiting, she was informed that she was included in the list of "undesirable people", and her arrival was regarded as an "unusual act". The border service workers demanded that she leave the country with the next flight to Brussels.

On Friday, September 26, Rebbek Harms was to be present at the court in the case of the Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko.
