On September 26, exactly at midnight, sales of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in Russia began. TJournal visited the event in Moscow, organized by RE: Store in the European shopping center.

Despite the fact that the first iPhones of the resellers brought to Russia direct flights from Hong Kong on September 19 after a couple of hours after the start of world sales, a similar event in Moscow still caused traditional excitement. The “European”, empty in the evening of September 25, one of the largest shopping centers of the capital, seemed to concentrate all his visitors on a small platform at the RE: Store store.

Naturally, Reseller was not the only one who arranged a holiday from the start of sales of the iPhone 6. Similar events were synchronously held in the flagship salons of Megaphone and Svyaznoye, but did not receive such media coverage. The reason is simple: RE: Store was built of hundreds of people on the morning of Thursday, starting the issuance of bracelets that guaranteed the opportunity to purchase a smartphone after midnight.

According to the head of the press service of Inventive Retail Group (managing Re: Store company) Lyudmila Semushina, in the first few hours the store had already distributed about 400 bracelets, and the latter, issued before the ceremony, had number 742. There were also people who were “for a very decent” amount were ready to buy first place in the queue. Despite their perseverance, the company refused.

But places in line were already sold in the “European” itself. It is not known how much it cost to get into it a little early the rest, but Re: Store himself opposed such deals. Semushin found one of these merchants on Instagram: the guy laid out his bracelet with the announcement of the hashtag.

The company did not disclose how many goods it brought for a solemn start of sales, but stated that it is more than enough. In total, on September 19, Re: Store received about 11,800 pre -orders for new smartphones throughout Russia, and the iPhone 6 Plus ordered less than his “younger brother” - just like in the West. It was possible to buy iPhones without a queue at other points, so the visitors who came to the start of sales clearly wanted to just have fun.

The first buyer was a man named Sergey Khalattyan. He informed TJournal that he bought two iPhones - for himself and for his wife. Sergei did not tell where he was working, but said that he was not in Russia. When asked why he buys the iPhone 6 in Moscow, he replied: "So it is necessary."

Other buyers from among the first who burst into the red carpet got gift covers and free trips from Wheely taxi. Some of the discoverers took several iPhones “in reserve” at once - one of the visitors bought five at once.
