Kolomoisky intends to sue two billion dollars in Russia

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Igor Kolomoisky does not intend to defend his rights to property in Russia, but will file a lawsuit in the Hague tribunal for compensation for material damage in the amount of two billion dollars. According to Interfax, he stated this on Saturday at a press conference.

“He does not intend to defend the rights to this property, but intends to compensate for material damage,” the head of the region said.

Kolomoisky also noted that in Crimea he "has not so many property, but in Moscow there is no property at all." He specified that he has no sanatoriums and holiday houses in the Crimea. According to him, his team has long got rid of all unnecessary property, "which then can make us hostages."

Answering the question of the total amount of possible claims, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration noted that "the amount of claims to the Hague Tribunal, which I see today - up to two billion dollars. But this is in the future." He also noticed, "they will return, they will not return, what is the difference, and the nerves with a bar."

The representative of Elite-Holding, Natalya Soboleva, stated at a court meeting that Kolomoisky was not a co-founder of the company and not a single organization of the organization has been owned by him since 2008. She also emphasized that the money received by the company from renting premises does not go to finance armed groups in eastern Ukraine, since the latest payments abroad were last made in March 2014.

The property of Kolomoisky in Moscow was arrested on September 2, 2014.
