Ex-President of Egypt Hosni Mubarak was taken to Cairo to announce the verdict in the case of the death of hundreds of demonstrators during the unrest that accompanied the Egyptian revolution.
According to ITAR-TASS, a helicopter with Hosni Mubarak arrived at the police academy in Cairo, where the sentence will be announced.
The Egyptian media call the trial of the ex-president the "process of the century."
Mubarak is accused of the deaths of over 750 demonstrators during the days of the “January 25” revolution.
This is a repeated criminal process that lasted 496 days. The first verdict of life imprisonment, issued in June 2012, was appealed by the defense of Mubarak. The court resumed from scratch in April 2013.
