The Ministry of Internal Affairs approved the program of training private detectives

The Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev approved the standard programs, according to which they will train private detectives in Russia, RIA Novosti reports. The text of the order on Wednesday was published in the "Russian newspaper".

According to the standard program, a professional private detective will master the subtleties of Russian legislation in 319 hours of training, technical and psychological training will be held, and will also pass the first aid exam without fail.

The main emphasis in the standard program is placed on the knowledge of the legal foundations of private detective activity, as well as the subtleties of criminal procedure in the country. In addition, the program involves training in the use of permitted technical means.

Last week, a bill was introduced to the State Duma according to which the defendants and victims will be able to submit in court evidence discovered by private detectives.

In order to get a license, a private detective will also be obliged to confirm the knowledge of the psychological aspects of his profession, as well as the ability to provide first aid.

Another document regulating this sphere was the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs last summer. The decree allows private detectives, security enterprises and police on a legal and official basis to unite to combat crime.
