"Poems about me" in "House 12"

The Moscow Club “House 12” with the support of Corpus, COLTA.RU website and the interview magazine begins a series of literary evenings “Poems about me”.

The program is dedicated to the writer and journalist Peter Weil, who would have turned 65 this year. “Poems about me” is the name of his book, which included 55 most important poems of the twentieth century for him and thoughts about them.

“Poems about me in house 12” are meetings with people without whom it is impossible to imagine today's cultural landscape, artists, poets, musicians, journalists - who will tell about their favorite verses and read them.

The first evening will take place on Wednesday, October 8 , at 20:00 (free entrance). “Poems about me” is chosen and read by the poet Anatoly Nayman, the owner of one of the most independent votes in Russian literature of the second half of the twentieth century.

Anatoly Nayman was born in 1936 in Leningrad, in 1958 he graduated from the Leningrad Technological Institute named after Lensoveta, in 1964-the highest scenario courses. A member of the group of Leningrad poets, whom Akhmatova called "Abvakumovites" (Bobyshev, Brodsky, Naiman, Rhine).

Until 1989, Naiman could publish only translations in the USSR, his poems were published abroad. He was never a member of the Writers' Union, performed the duties of literary secretary Anna Akhmatova from the beginning of the 1960s to her death. Published 8 poetic collections and 12 books of prose.
