A virtual library opened in the Moscow metro

About 30 posters with QR codes leading to a special portal appeared at the Moscow metro stations, where you can read or download dozens of works of Russian literature.

According to M24.ru , the first deputy head of the subway Yuri Degtyarev, the library was launched in test mode and will work completely by mid -October.

According to the instructions on the posters, to use the library, you need to have an application for reading codes and electronic books on a smartphone or tablet. Using a QR code, the passenger gets access to the Metroreder.ru metro website, which is already working in open mode.

Books can be downloaded for free in EPUB, FB2, Adobe Acrobat and PDF, as well as read online. Users have the opportunity to influence the set of books on the site, offering their own options.

The press service of the subway explained that the places of placement placement are now tested, and in the future, posters may appear in the wagons themselves.
