
Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev proposed to release alcohol-containing drugs only according to prescriptions. According to the government’s website, the head of the Ministry of Health Veronik Skvortsova is instructed to work out this issue and, if necessary, prepare the draft appropriate changes to the legislation.
Medvedev also instructed Skvortsova to decide whether it is advisable to limit the volume of containers for the rosillum of alcohol -containing drugs and their sale to retail.
At the same meeting, the head of government gave the head of the Federal Air Force to Igor Chuyan the task of thinking about introducing a ban on the import of more than 5 liters of alcohol from the countries of the Customs Union by citizens.
The need to limit the volume of alcohol imported by individuals from Kazakhstan and Belarus, 5 liters, in September, said the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov. This, he explained, is necessary, since gray import from Kazakhstan led to the misunderstanding of the regions from excise taxes on alcohol.
