Kolomoisky recognized triple citizenship

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk region and one of the richest businessmen of Ukraine Igor Kolomoisky has three citizenships. In addition to Ukrainian, he also has passports of Israel and Cyprus, writes Ukrainian Truth .

Commenting on the legislative ban on the presence of dual citizenship in Ukraine, the governor explained that "the law prohibits dual citizenship, and there is no triple."

According to the Ukrainian law “On Local State Administrations”, when identifying the fact of dual citizenship, the president must terminate the powers of the governor.

At the end of September, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he was not going to dismiss Kolomoisky, because he "copes with his functions." Earlier today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported that the ex-president of the country Viktor Yanukovych, former Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka and former Prime Minister Nikolai Azarov received Russian citizenship. The press secretary of the Russian przident Dmitry Peskov refused to comment on this information.
