Roscosmos will present a space program for 2016-2025

Over the next three months, Roscosmos will present to the government the Federal Space Program for 2016-2025, TASS reports with reference to the head of the Federal Space Agency Oleg Ostapenko.

According to him, the formation of the space program has already been completed, now there is a process of coordination with interested ministries and departments. “We must submit (the program) to the government at the end of this year. In these terms, we will definitely lay down, ”said Ostapenko.

He noted that the manned space will be occupied by a manned space in the industry. The main attention will be paid to the development of scientific space, as well as projects for the development of the Moon and Mars.

Earlier it was reported that the Federal Space Agency plans to begin full -scale development of the Moon by 2030. According to the head of Roscosmos, by this time the results of the study of the moon surface automatic space devices will allow you to find the most promising places for planting and deploying lunar bases.

In 2017, the department intends to begin the development of a robot-cosmonaut, who will have to help the ISS crew during outputs into outer space.
