The representative of the Gazprom-Media holding, which owns 66% of the shares of Echo of Moscow, confirmed that Pavlova is moving to a leading position to the broadcasting corporation of Profmedia (VKPM), which controls all Gazprom Media radio stations.

Ekaterina Pavlova , who previously held the post of deputy chairman of the broadcast of the Voice of Russia, became the general director of Echo of Moscow in February. Prior to this, 22 years, the general director of the radio station was Yuri Fedutinov.

Venediktov claims that Gazprom-Media has pressure on the radio station for political reasons. Venediktov with partners in the summer said that they were ready to redeem the Gazprom-Media package, but received the answer that the holding was not interested in this.
