On the day of animal protection, believers came to the temple with pets

The Catholic Order of the Franciscans, who has a representative office in Vilnius, invited the believers last Sunday to come to the church along with animals, over which the rank of consecration was committed. So in the Lithuanian capital celebrated World Animal Protection Day.

To celebrate World Animal Protection On October 4 - on the day of St. Francis, the patron saint of all living things was decided in 1931 in Florence (Italy). Since 2000, this holiday has been celebrated in Lithuania.

This year, the consecration of animals in the Bernardy Church in Vilnius, Messo and the concert of "Inspiration" will end on Friday the festival-the 200th anniversary of the Bernardine parish.
