“In the case of recovering men, the virus can be stored in sperm for up to 70 days, during one of the studies the virus remained for up to 90 days,” the organization noted.

Professor Peter Piot, who is the discoverer of the Ebola virus, emphasized that for safety it is not recommended to have unprotected sex with men who have suffered Ebola for 180 days.
