The finalists of the "Russian Boker" were declared

On the year, on October 8, at a press conference in Moscow, the jury of the Russian Bouquer literary prize for the best novel in Russian announced the finalists of 2014.

As reported on the Prize website , six novels were included in the short list of Russian Boker - 2014:

1. Anatoly Vishnevsky - "Biography of Peter Stepanovich";
2. Natalia Gromova - “Key. Last Moscow ”;
3. Zakhar Prilepin - "abode";
4. Victor Remizov - “free will”;
5. Elena Skulskaya - “Marble Swan”;
6. Vladimir Sharov - "Return to Egypt."

These works were selected from a long list of premium formed in July.

This year, 85 works were nominated to participate in the Russian Bucher Prize, 78 were allowed. 43 publishers, 8 magazines, 4 universities and 9 libraries took part in the nomination.

The winner of the Russian Boker - 2014 will be announced on December 5. It will receive 1.5 million rubles, finalists - 150 thousand rubles each.
