
India authorities ordered to speed up the evacuation to safe settlements about 450 thousand people in connection with the approach of the Hadhad cyclone, Interfax reports.
The Meteorological Service of India said that at present the Hadhad threat level is assessed as “very serious”, while on Sunday it will rise to “Extraordinary”.
Reuters with reference to meteorologists reports that gusts of wind of Sunday hurricane can reach 195 m/h.
It is expected that the cyclone will fall on October 12 to settlements in the eastern part of the country, in the states of Andra Pradesh and Oriss.
The military is located in these regions, the task of which is to minimize the damage of the natural disaster and prevent robberies.
Local authorities recommended fishermen not to go to sea in the coming days.
