The militants of the Islamic State group ("IG") killed on Friday the Iraqi journalist Raad Muhamed al-Azaui, his brother and two other inhabitants of the country, TASS reports with reference to the message of the relatives of the deceased journalist AFP.

According to the organization "Reporters Without Borders", 37-year-old Raad Muhamed al-Azaui worked as an operator on the Sama Salah Aldeen TV channel.

All the dead were stolen last Sunday in the city of Samarra. The murder was committed by militants publicly in one of the villages located north of Baghdad.

On October 4, Extremists of IG, operating in Iraq and Syria, were beheaded by the British hostage Alan Henning. In mid -September, another British subject David Haynes became the victim of the Islamists. Earlier, militants also beheaded two Americans - James Fowley and Stephen Sotloff. At the end of September, the extremists of the IG killed the Frenchman Erweh Gurdel, captured in Algeria.

Currently, the British journalist John Cantley, captured by militants in Syria in 2012, is in captivity at the Islamic State group. The terrorists have already distributed three videos with his appeals in which he calls for the West to stop the fight against IG.

“IG”, which has connections with al-Qaeda, gained greatest force during actions in Syria, where she fought against government forces and gained “glory” of one of the most cruel ones. A few months ago, the group sharply activated its activities in Iraq. IS launched a massive attack on the northern and north-west provinces of Iraq and seized vast territories, where it announced the creation of the so-called Islamic Caliphate.

In September, the US Air Force, with the support of the five Arab countries, struck the first IG strokes in Syria. The raids participated in the air forces of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar.

Now about 40 states are included in the anti -terrorist coalition. Russia does not participate in the operation against the Islamic State.
