It turns out such a dilogy “On Happiness”, which, as Arkady Gaidar correctly noted, everyone understands in their own way.

The time of action is the end of the 80s. This is the line when the “iron curtain” collapsed, when the first Western things began to appear in us. When the first time you could hear Pinkfloyd and Ledzeppelin, and their songs sounded mixed with Yuri Antonov and Alla Pugacheva.
The play was written by the playwright Elena Isaeva (with which Soundrama has already worked in one of her first performances, “Dok. Tut”), and was based on documentary materials. Isaeva spoke a lot with different people, including our artists, everyone told their memories. I wanted to touch this time, because Soundrama had not done this yet. Feel the era of the 80s and 90s, its lyrics and touching.
There is a lot of parallel action in the play: the court is a living organism. All actors are continuously on stage. This is an eternal communal apartment. In one yard, everyone knows about each other.
We would like to pay tribute to all this generation - the abandoned generation. It was a sincere and non -sound time, when everyone fought “wall on the wall” - but if a person fell, he was not finished off. And now it is customary to finish off - both in the literal sense and in a figurative.
Musical material - the first discos in nightclubs. But, first of all, human relations worry me. We have not a single negative character. Everyone meets, everyone loves, everyone is worried. It turns out such an Italian courtyard. Or Russian with an Italian accent. And I'm not afraid of any excesses, I am not afraid of sentimentality. I want love.
I am interested in the new rhythm for us, do not hard work, but "watercolor". Maybe I am old - but God is with him. I have not tried this yet. For us, this work is simply necessary.
