On October 21, the second concert of the Beethoven Symphony cycle, in the program of which the first symphony of Beethoven and Prague Symphony Mozart, the Musicaeterna orchestra will play without a conductor.
The curator of the concert , the artistic director of the Concerto Köln orchestra Martin Zandhoff , will work with the Musicaeterna orchestra at the invitation of the artistic director of the Perm Opera and Ballet of Theodore Kurentzis the whole season.
The main goal of the work is to help the orchestra to rebuild work with other conductors, and for this to freely master the format of independent execution extremely complex for large orchestras. Like Musicaeterna , the Concerto Köln orchestra consists of soloists and puts forward a performance without a conductor as one of its principles, even with large symphonic programs.
“We just recorded the Don Juan opera Mozart , much from the style of interpretation of Mozart Theodore Krentzis, I think to transfer to the“ Prague ”symphony that we will perform, even given that we will play modern instruments,” says Zandhoff.
The direct online broadcast of the concert will be held on the theater website . Start at 19:00 (17:00 Moscow time).
The next concert of the Beethoven Symphony cycle will be held on January 18. The Musicaeterna orchestra under the direction of Peter Belyakin will perform the second, fourth and eighth symphony.
