In an interview with Radio Liberty, Vian Dahil, the only deputy of the Iraqi parliament from the religious minority of the Yezids in Iraq, said that with the approach of winter the situation was aggravated - refugees often remain without a roof over their heads, constantly rains, and people simply have nowhere to hide. Vian Dahil , who recently was awarded the Anna Politkovskaya Award from the human rights organization Reach All Women in War (“Help every woman in the fire of war”) emphasizes that the fate of the Sezidok women in Iraq is even more terrible than Christians, who are militants of the Islamic State terrorist organization: they drive out of the houses:

- There are no Jews in Iraq. And they just say Christians - get out! They become refugees, but the militants do not take their women, do not abduct them. Only Yyzidok is abducted, and we do not understand why they are. In Iraq, more than half a million Yezids. 25 thousand girls and girls were taken away, we do not know exactly where they are. But it is known that some are kept in prisons here in Iraq. Some were taken to Syria, someone is in the city of Mosul. They are taken to rape! And sell - $ 150 per girl!

Vian Dahil calls the Muslim women from Western countries fighting on the side of the Islamic State (according to some reports, there are about thirty), think about what the militants do with the Yezidki:

- Every woman supporting the Islamic State must put herself in the place of these girls, to understand what they have to go through. They are raped 12-year-olds, they are raped by 10-year-olds! I want to ask: if you or someone from your family were in such a situation that you feel? These girls could be your daughters, your sisters, your neighbors-it would be normal for you if someone abused your daughter, over your sister, over your neighbor?

The name Vian Dahil became widely known after her emotional performance in the Iraqi parliament on August 5 of this year, in which she called the action of the action of the Islamic State against the Jezid refugee, blocked on Mount Sinjar in the north of Iraq . Dahil protruded from her place, violating the usual move of the parliamentary session. The speaker tried to interrupt her speech, some deputies demanded to shut up from her, but Vian Dahil continued to say:

Two days later, US President Barack Obama, announcing the beginning of a military operation against the militants of the Islamic State and assisting the Ezids in Iraq, noted: “This week one resident of Iraq shouted to the whole world:“ No one comes to our aid! ”America comes to the rescue today.”

On August 12, when a helicopter is stiffly landing on the mountain, Sinjar Vian Dahil broke both legs and several ribs. The pilot of the helicopter transporting 35 people died.
