On the evening of August 27, 2014, on the day when it became known about the beginning of the advance of the pro-Russian troops in the direction of Mariupol, the Moscow activist Dmitry Monakhov wrote on his Twitter account the following: “I am a Russian. Not cattle. Not a killer. And not the occupier. I am ashamed that Putin is my president. At 9.00 I go to the arena against the war. ” A short message gathered more than three thousand reposts, but in the morning only operatives were waiting for it in the square. The editorial office of the ATS-Info invited Monakhov to talk about the action, the special reception, in which he got after it for 15 days, and in general about the protest, police, ships and prisons.
Short profile: Dmitry Monakhov, Linux programmer, activist of the Moscow "Solidarity", participant in the movement in defense of the Khimki forest, shares in the framework of the strategy-31. During the folk gathering after the first sentence in the Kirovles case on July 18, 2013 monks, not in need of Megaphone to strengthen his voice, was detained as a person who is distinguished among others, and directly on Mokhova, in a car recycling is animated with a riot police. He still has not been able to achieve the initiation of a criminal case.
OVD-Info: We are interested in the personal perception of how the police acts, how the court acts and what is happening in prison. Since your experience has accumulated ...
Dmitry Monakhov: I did not sit in prison ...
O-I: By the prison, this is the tag-any conclusion. Any detention. Special receiver as experience.
DM: I, thank God, was the first. This time everything was more cultural than it sometimes happens. Often they give in to the ribs, this time they did not beat - neither in the square, nor later. We didn’t curse them especially, but somehow I did not see the point of talking to them.
O-and: And the detention itself, how did it start?
DM: Well, how?! Well, they had the task of simply detaining for any reason, that is, at first they asked the documents. I more or less represent this story, so I took a photocopy of my passport with me. Usually you give them, and now, please, my passport data. I am ready to show the passport, compare, without question. And then they have no reason to lead me somewhere, my personality is established. The policeman says: "What is happening here?" I say: "I spend a single picket." I didn’t even have thoughts that they were soldered to me, that I was supposedly on Red Square. If I really wanted to go to Red Square, then I would go there. There were no problems with this. Theoretically, I assumed that they could hooligan, they can something like that.
Oh: And where was that? On the arena?
DM: Yes, opposite the entrance, opposite the Iveron Gate. The policeman said that any events are prohibited here. I think - at all, guys? I understand that a different procedure for coordination, but this is what is very upset and oppressed that there are really two ATSs in Moscow, which are forced to engage in public events, are Tver and Kitaygorodskoye. You can train them, damn it, pronounce some simple mantra: “Tra-Ta-Ta, you violate ...”? If there is an agreed order, then the “prohibited” cannot be said, damn it. Some kind of such hopelessness, damn it.
O-and: Do they always say different things?
DM: It seems that they did not read anything. Yes, they say, of course, different. What seemed right to them today. I say: “You know, here actually yesterday the jam day passed, on Red Square we have public events constantly.” But they began to drag me further.
O-and: Immediately after that?
DM: No, at first they say: "It is forbidden here." I say: "Oh, then I will move away." What is the point of arguing with them? He walked away 20 meters. Actually, I said this: "Tra-Ta, citizens are police officers, I am moving away."
O-and: So they told you where to go? Or did you ask them?
DM: They said: "It is forbidden here." I think that I will quarrel with them? I did not come up with them. I say: "Ok, citizens of the police demand to move away - I am moving away." They are behind me: “Where are you? You have already broken. ” That's all. Then they grabbed me and began to shove me into the car, he, in fact, had already driven up.
O-and: Have you been without a poster?
DM: I never take a poster with me, because it is pointless. For what? Maybe I just focus on myself, I just have a bad vision, and I never see posters, I consider this some kind of ineffective means of influence. No, I had nothing like that.
Oh: and you stood and ...?
DM: I stood quite loudly - of course, I won’t demonstrate now, I’m afraid that people are scared here - I quite intelligibly explained: “Dear citizens, in my opinion, Ukrainians are my brothers, I think so. As you think - think for yourself. In the Criminal Code there is article 353-this is the preparation, planning and conduct of an aggressive war-from 7 to 14, in my opinion, strict, although I definitely do not remember, but from seven years. The Supreme Commander -in -Chief in our country is the President of the Russian Federation, and in general the war with the brothers is madness. ” Actually, I said this somehow, maybe, in a circle, somehow developing there, people came and left.
O-i: Did you listen to a lot of people?
DM: No, not very, 9 in the morning after all.
O-I: How did you react?
DM: In different ways. Some man came up a hand shook. Then a man drove on a bicycle from behind and said, I don’t remember exactly the wording: “Why are they killing us?” -Either they kill someone, or in Slavyansk they are killed. Or why they shoot - the meaning is. And I say: "Guys, let's think about it?" He left, then I, rather, answered not to him, but to the question asked. I say: “Guys, they don’t hang anything in Slavyansk now, they don’t hang anyone in Kramatorsk either, there are no militias, and all the riots stopped there.”
O-I: And the police, before approaching, went around the perimeter?
DM: No, there was an Ashnik on the side, I saw him before.
Oh: how was he there?
DM: I did not ask him.
O-and: Did he come to your event specially?
DM: I don’t remember at what moment he appeared, five minutes, no more has passed, I think he will probably be on duty there.
O-i: generally strange, the eshniks do not be on duty, like.
DM: In short, he was there. He shot something there. I think that either he, or from the like active citizens called the police. They came and immediately went to me.
Oh: how long has you passed? How much did you manage to stand?
DM: half an hour. As far as I understand, they received a challenge, while they were going, traveled from Kitay-Gorod through a new square ... So much time has passed, they also need to gather, document, all that ...
O-and: And when you came, was this eshnik already there?
DM: I don’t know. When the people looked at me - I already localized it.
O-and: And you wrote somewhere, said that you want to go?
DM: Yes. Something got me like that at night, I had such a hopelessness, I had seen enough news about our Kostromichi. I wrote on Twitter: “I am a Russian, not cattle, not a killer, not an occupier. I am ashamed that Putin is my president. At 9 in the morning I will go to the arena. ” It was no secret.
O-and: Then everything is clear ... They took you, and what?
DM: We were taken to the China-Gorod police department.
O-I: There was at least some resistance on your part? What could be regarded as resistance?
DM: No, if there is resistance, then they give the 318th article, as you know.
Oh: disobedience?
DM: I tried to get from them ... I am very ashamed to think that our police, damn it, from the Tver and Chinese Gorod department do not know how to formulate Article 19.3. You can’t say - "We ask you." They ask for cigarettes. And if I do not give cigarettes, then they are not obliged to plant me for this for 15 days, and there it was: "We ask you to sit down." Well, guys, you have a law - "We demand from you, damn it, get into the car." Everything, paws up - I would have sat down, I do not need 15 days out of the blue. I stood at the car, and in order to put me there, I had to utter a famous legal phrase, it was not there. All. I just stood.
O-and: What could there be a legal phrase?
DM: "We demand from you to proceed with us to the police department for the preparation of administrative materials." This should be a requirement, and this must comply with the law.
O-and: Does it correspond in this form? You did nothing. Or do you think that you did something?
DM: Then you can already argue whether they detained me legally. They can come up and say: "You are similar, we demand from you to pass." Have the right? They have, unfortunately. It will be humanly wrong, but it will be legal. I will be forced to obey this, and if this phrase is not uttered, then all the guys, sorry. I hope that once they will learn them, although something is unlikely to change with Vasiliev there.
Oleg Vasiliev is the famous, wonderful chief of the Kitay-Gorod Department of Internal Affairs. A wonderful person, I do not know a single opposition lawyer whom he personally would not throw out of Kitay-Gorod. This is a wonderful person, sincere. He does not know the law for sure. This is such a life position.
Oh: So you stood. And what did they have to do then?
DM: They, in fact, tamped me, I was a little higher than the car, they did the four of them that they tamped me there. They rammed, and we went.
O-and: Did you take the phone?
DM: Yes. By the way, I did not realize something to call. I did not think that I was soldered by 19.3. Still, I had the first arrest article, and I did nothing. In my opinion, there was no such story with disobedience, that is, I didn’t even think about it. Holding me 3 hours, the duty officer told me that 20.2 and 19.3. All. After this moment, it became clear what would happen.
O-i: Did they say nothing for three hours?
DM: No, they did something there, as it usually happens. Naturally, the materials were not in my presence. On such trifles in order to explain to me some rights there-it’s even a shame to demand this from them.
O-and: Have you been introduced to the case?
DM: Yes, I looked at the papers, and there was this wonderful phrase - "I held a single picket in a place where public events are prohibited." Great! I agree to go to court with this wording. Public events cannot be prohibited on Red Square, they may require a different procedure for coordination! You can't say that! Okay, I think we went to court, we’ll figure it out further.
Oh: and that’s all? Was it all all the description of your action?
DM: No, the police very accurately recorded my slogans about the fact that "Putin made the enemies of the Ukrainians," and the fact that "to attract under article 353." I was even surprised.
O-and: Did they hear them?
DM: This is a mystery.
O-and: Maybe Ashnik helped them?
DM: I'm not hiding, I'm not saying what I was for the flowers. I came, held a single picket and spoke slogans, but I was not on Red Square.
Oh: and what is written there? What were you just on Red Square?
DM: The fact that I was next to the house 2 on Red Square. I’m not a native Muscovite, but, damn it, even I know that the “Red Square, house 1” is being transmitted to Echo of Moscow. No houses 2, in some sources, house 2 is the Cathedral of Blessed Vasily. That is, the guys work on the site, there are not many houses on Red Square, you can learn in 5-10 years of service where what house is. Okay, these are trifles.
O-I: That is, it was not said about Manezhnaya Square, and that you were at the historical museum, Red Square, house 2?
DM: Yes. Further, in court we found out for a long time where I was, the distance from the zero kilometer, closer, next. But this is already a court.
OVD-Info: Was there something else before the trial? What did they write at 19.3?
Dmitry Monakhov: Exactly the same, they only added that "he did not submit to repeated requests, thereby expressed a clear rejection of the requirements made." And it says that they asked me to sit down, there is no demand.
O-I: What was the story with Emile Terekhin?
DM: We are sitting, we are waiting for the court, I have no phone-I asked me to give me the phone, my record was just turned on just in case, you never know, it happens differently, this time the record was not very informative, although our dialogue was completely there.
O-and: The police did not give you the phone?
DM: Yes, he remained in Kitay-Gorod. We arrived there, waiting. I did not know Emil until that moment. We sit in the car and wait until they say to go there. Emil in the car saw me: "Oh, it's you, great." Then we go into the hall, I gave the judge a motion to give me the opportunity to get acquainted with the case, and just Emil was sitting inside, he just went. We and I have thrown a couple of phrases.
Oh: from the hall or inside the hall?
DM: Yes, inside the hall. He asked me whether to call any of the defenders. I say: "Denis [Yudin] should have a power of attorney on me." And here I have the idea that I and Emil can write so that at least two people get acquainted, two are still better, especially a little on the platoon, so it will be better. I am starting to write this power of attorney, the bailiffs, apparently, was retraining, there was such a nervous situation, because there were Life News with cameras and waited for Rufer - a guy who was from St. Petersburg, had to determine a preventive measure. In general, maybe they thought they came to shoot me, they were on the platoon. And that’s all - he seems to have come out, I don’t know, not himself. He went out the door himself. What is happening next, I do not know. I write this paper. The judge returns, I make a petition, he says: “Terekhin. Let's go here. " - “And we draw up an administrative protocol on it” ...
How was Emil in the Tver court? I understand that they simply scattered around the courts and began to guard, as it sometimes happens.
Oh: the duty officer seems to have said that you will be taken in Tverskaya, so not that all the courts would be in Emily.
DM: Since there is a person who can once again look with his eyes - good. Emil entered - the protocol apparently evaporated. We began to read with him. The judge was so quite awake for the whole case, I interrogated me, interrogated me, questioned everyone.
O-and: Who is the judge?
DM: Judge Alexei Stekliev.
O-I: moved, along with our cases, from the magistrate court ...
DM: They say they made a career in this sense.
O-I: Specialist.
DM: He listened, listened. I say: "There must be a requirement, and it must be legal." And he, in the end, says to me: "But if this happened in America with an American policeman?" What does it have to do with it? So somehow it hit me-I thought. Then I went to write a solution, and all - 15 days.
Oh: how much time did it take?
DM: He wrote half an hour somewhere. In all protocols, reports, all slogans are clearly reflected as it is. Exactly, nothing is distorted there, and the judge wrote in the decision: "Crowed out the slogans of thematic content." He was afraid to write this business. Something stopped him, because he rewrote everything else.
O-and: Was it a court for 19.3?
D.M.: 19.3.
Oh: and 20.2?
DM: It was. It took place on the 11th, when I spent the last day and, being properly notified, for some reason I did not appear at the trial.
Oh: did you get a piece of paper about this in a special detention center? Notification?
DM: From the postman with a whore ... no, of course. What are you talking about? The opportunity to come to court-at least somehow unload, I would love to go. Honestly, I am upset that it was another judge, otherwise it would be completely enchanting if it were Sterliev for the second time.
O-and: And what is the name of the name of the second?
DM: Salnikova M.L. Here, of course, there are also funny papers also crawl out. We will understand.
O-and: How did you react to work at work? How did it go for the vacation? Or at your own expense?
DM: Vacation. I had exactly 15 days - I met. It is clear that, of course, they were not happy, because work-it is in Africa work, it must be done to someone, some terms are burning. They said: "Come on, all, the vacation is over, come on without it." No, in this sense I have normal work, they don’t gnaw out to me there, independent from the state. It is quite decent.
O-and: When you were convicted, you were taken first to Kitay-Gorod?
DM: After the trial, I was taken to Kitay-Gorod, and we waited for me to go to the special receiver. According to the original rumors, there were no places, and I thought that I had to spend the night in the police department, the attendant said so. Then, apparently, they searched and looked out, it turned out that there would be places, they took it.
OVD-Info: In the first special receiver?
Dmitry Monakhov: In the second, somewhere at twelve in the morning they brought me there.
Oh: how is the settlement process?
DM: normally, they even gave me SMS to send. I sent SMS to the apartment mistress that I would not be in the city. I did it. Mother did not call that day, because it was too late. At night, to write to her “Mom, I am in a special-reception” I somehow did not. I thought the next day I will do it. And all. Went.
O-and: Do you use the phone in the special cost? There are 15 minutes there is a day or how much?
DM: Yes, 15, 10 or 5-also differently. It happens 20. It was generally news for me, because I never knew this, to be honest. It's very cool.
Oh: how is it arranged? Do you write a statement?
DM: The duty officer comes, looks for order in the cell, if it is decently removed - and we had decent, quite clean - it means that it leads to call. We never had problems, the guys have there, I don’t know what was happening in their cell-they were punished once there once. Again, I don’t know - maybe they had a completely poor there.
O-and: How was it punished?
DM: As I understand it, they did not go to call.
O-I: Do everyone lead at the same time?
DM: No, three or four people. That is, they come in and say: “Who's calls, four people went,” they lower it to the first floor and give you your phone, if you don’t have a phone, you can call the neighbor, so I let the guys call.
Oh: And if I sat down?
DM: If you sat down, then you have to try to negotiate with the employees so that they let you charge. Firstly, if you have charging, then please be charged, there are sockets, you can. One shift could have agreed that you were left for this business at night ... I had so excellent, there were no violent, there were no drug addicts. In the neighboring guys, they sat in breaking, also seemed to be nothing, also not violent.
Oh: And what did your cellmates sit for?
DM: Basically, drunken drivers, 95 percent are drunk drivers. And such funny guys. At four o’clock in Bowling, the guy decided that a lot of money was going on beer - we went for beer. Naturally, they didn’t buy beer, they arrived back, then they took it. So he in boots for Bowling and came to us, without laces.
Oh: how many people are in the cell?
DM: Seven. Skkoka seven, there were a little fewer people, once half a day sat four, so on average 6-7. In the special receiver, the repair is quite decent, there are no questions in this sense, only the guys smoked. If you do separately, so that smokers and non -smoker cameras, you will be very excellent to serve administrative punishment.
O-and: Do not be seated if you ask?
DM: I did not ask, to be honest. It didn’t even occur to me, because it was so bored there, there were clearly no places, so I did not ask. They feed normally, as in a campaign, when 6 people are not able to cook, and one can. For 6 days they are fed with sticky pasta, you can eat it quite, you definitely won’t die of hunger, well, tasteless. There are no such bad things in this sense.
Oh: how does the day flow?
DM: Yes, it flows sadly - for a long time. We get up, in the morning breakfast is somewhere around eight hours. Nobody goes to breakfast, because it is tasteless, and there is nothing to do there. Give a section, completely tasteless.
O-i: So you can not go?
DM: Yes, of course, please, at least Sleep all day. More precisely, there is one point. We walked in turn only in the morning of cans of water to take warm water.
Oh: why?
DM: In order to make tea from it then to brew a doshirak, so that there is hot water. Some guys from the neighboring chamber into warm water sketched bread and yeast and received mash after 10 days. I do not know how to hide it, because it stinks all the same. There is such a fairly stable smell. Somehow they managed. Then at 9 o’clock the check, the change of guard, call it so, one duty shift changes with another. They then bring us out of the camera in fact and go into the camera and look for something there. As this, apparently, is laid according to their charter.
Oh: once a day?
DM: Yes. More, in principle, all-on the other hand, we did not violate anything, we did not eat drugs, what is the point of entering us, to look for something? They did not bargose. Once a day they went in, looked - everything is fine. We had a fairly pure camera, in this sense they had no nit -picking to us and there were no questions. When the guys from the neighboring chamber on the day of the city of phenazepam ate, they tried to calm them down, also, in my opinion, without tin. Somehow they hung on them and, in my opinion, did not even come in. In this sense, it was normal - there was neither violence nor assault. Further after verification, two hours later-somewhere at 11 they take either to calls or for a walk. A walk is such a small courtyard, somewhere around 6 to 30, maybe 25, which is fenced with a concrete fence like that, and on top of the grill, you can pull up on this bars, some guards drive for it, some are not. Most of all, I was surprised in the special forces in the special reception that we are going for a walk, they sit on tables - in this courtyard there are two tables - they sit down and smoke, and now for an hour, 40 minutes, how much we have to go there, they sit there and talk to each other. When we come to the camera, they begin to walk-I did not understand this logic, this is something so inexplicable. Then we realized - they began to play football. They made a ball from the socks and played football. Further during the day lunch, in the evening dinner. And all. This time should be some time, mainly after dinner, we slept. What upset me a little - the people read little, on the contrary, I tried to kill for this time, it seems, we are the most reading country - but the people did not really read.
O-and: Is there anything to read?
DM: Yes, firstly, you can bring anything, and there are regiments where some books, apparently, are left.
Oh: right in the cell?
DM: No, next to the dining room. While we are being taken there, there is an opportunity to choose something. There are monumental works such as “War and Peace”, Mine Read, I was very pleased with the set of legal literature-there is a pamphlet “Law on State Secret”, the Civil Code and something else, but there is no administrative code, although the administrative code is a very important publication. For example, we tried to understand what article 12.26 Part 2 is. We brought a guy-uzbek, he really understands, he does not know why he was. Previously, it was taken for 12.26 Part 2 ("Failure to be the driver of the vehicle, the requirements for a medical examination for intoxication" - approx.), And now he is threatened with 12.7 part 1 ("Driving by a driver who does not have the right to drive a vehicle" - approx.). And we, too, cannot tell him anything. So this literature would be very useful in the relevant institution.
O-and: Can you go only for lunch, for dinner, for a walk?
DM: And so you sit in the cell.
Oh: is it closed?
DM: Yes, of course.
Oh: And the toilet?
DM: The toilet is also inside, it is separated by us as in the sauna, a wooden door, which added some charm.
O-and: Is it still a toilet or a parach?
DM: She is on a raise, but flush with the floor, that is, it is a parash. We had quite cleanly, there were no problems. When we returned from a walk after football, we banally gained a five-liter jar of water-you get over this parachie and you can pour on yourself, that is, this is even a more or less shower. In this sense, it was quite decent there.
Oh: And just a shower?
DM: Once a week, a normal shower.
O-and: A certain number of people led there too?
DM: Yes, led. The opportunity to wash yourself from the five -liter at any time - it is quite convenient if this was not, it would have to wash yourself over the sink to the waist - this is much worse.
O-and: And for lunch and for a walk, too, a camera, or do people interfere there?
DM: We are taken to the corridor, brought to the dining room. The dining room is two tables, and there is access to the refrigerator, some perishable products can be put in the refrigerator. It was just a discovery for me, I never even thought that such sanatoriums could be.
Oh: you come and all sit down at one table, or can you transfer somewhere?
DM: Wherever you want. But since the team is closed, we tried to continue some conversations-we sat together.
Oh: other cameras are also present there?
DM: When they are present, when not, but, mostly, yes. There is some opportunity to spread the phrases: “Oh guys, how are you? What did you have? What, how? "
Oh: how many people are sitting in the dining room?
DM: Basically, two cameras at the same time.
Oh: or are there only two cameras?
DM: No, there are a lot. They, as I understand it, are eight.
O-and: And they let go of a walk, too, two cameras?
DM: two or three.
O-i: Is there a woman in a special detention center?
DM: There was one girl of about 25 years old. I also got there very funny-she and the groom were driving somewhere, both, as I understand it, is a spool. They were slowed down, the guy says: "They will take my right now, let's change?" They changed. As a result, he is a year and seven deprivations of rights for transferring the car, knowing in advance that she had no right, and she was 10 days. That is, he was just afraid.
O-and: And the administrative arrest is to him?
DM: No, so when they told it, we all started to boil with anger: “Wow, how bad it is!” She sat next to us-we sat in the 6th, she sat in the 7th cell.
O-and: Together with men? One?
DM: Yes, one, of course. And she could communicate with people only when she had lunch. And then - she also had lunch alone and could only communicate with the rappers.
O-and: How did you learn about its existence?
DM: It was like a legend about a beauty in a castle. Everyone knew about her, but no one saw her. But since our cameras were an angle, we saw her window. We knew that the light was on there - it means that it is there. We have one guy showed magical properties, we convinced him for a long time that he would decompose the atoms and flew there, but he said that the wind was bad, so he was afraid that he would blow him off and did not fly. Once I saw her when I had a meeting with the defender, I went on a date, missed the beginning of dinner, came to the dining room and said: “Give me a lunch,” and now she was sitting there. Once we were a couple of phrases. So I was considered very happy because I saw her.
O-i: Did you discuss your article? And in general your story? What did you say?
DM: Yes, of course. They treated differently, at some point they summarized what I did, very simple-went to Red Square to scold the king. The first question that was asked to me when they found out what I did: "Why are you, drunk or what was?" I say: "No, guys, I was absolutely sober." They say: "Damn, here."
Oh: supported?
DM: In different ways, 99 percent considered simply meaningless, someone believed that, in principle, I have the right to it, but again it was pointless. We had a militia from Lugansk, he was not so scolding me, he justified the position of the state that I was right and had to make sure that no one knew that I was going out.
Oh: what kind of militia?
DM: Man, 39 years old, a normal peasant, he is from Lugansk, 17 years old in Moscow. When the whole thing began there, he started his wife’s family here, and he went there himself. He is quite such a living man. Here he has some small business, such as trade. He stayed there for 20 days, and he was shell -shocked there. He is not crazy, you can argue with him, I actually saw a person after the war for the first time. He really dented him so much, he wants to speak, speak, he really was heated. He came here, stayed at home for a day, and his wife, apparently, was scared and moved to another apartment. Apparently, the man, as they say, was in stress. On the basis of stress, he thought that she had found another man at all, began to suspect, went to her new apartment, she was not there, and then he clung to his neighbors, they called the cops. Since it was at one in the morning, they probably did it right. The cops arrived, they took him. Apparently, he quarreled with the cops, and one brave comrade began to tell him: "I will wear hand handcuffs to you now." He says: "Try it." He began to wrap his hand and broke his hand. This happens. I believe in this story. They broke my hand - it happens, I in childhood with an arm wrestling worked out, I saw how my hands break. Unfortunately, this happens. He was broken by his hand, he served the police department for two days, then he was brought to court. "Where is the bully?" He says: "I am a bully." "What state are you?" - "Ukrainian." “Where will they look for you with a fine?” That is, she, probably, would have a fine to him. "That's it, come on - five days." "Do you want to listen to me?" “And everything is written here.”
O-I: He is not in 19.3, but 20.1?
DM: Yes. For a hooligan for 5 days. The worst is not that they put him, but that he was broken by his hand and he was two days without gypsum. This is simple, softly, indecent. He is not crazy that I liked. He is convinced, he believes that he must fight. You can argue with him for a long, long time, perhaps it will be convinced, but perhaps not-I don’t know. He believes that the Earth must be protected. In this sense, I did not argue with him. But when we argued with him, he was ready to accept the conditions of a normal dispute, which, for example, the fact is what you yourself saw either a person to whom you are a kapets as you trust. He accepted these conditions, and on these conditions we somehow argued with him, proved something to each other. I had some cellmates who have in my head, that America would destroy us all. But this one was normal. It was possible to agree with him to something. Naturally, we did not agree with him. There, in fact, then it is no longer me, and the boys convinced him: “Think with your head, here you will leave, you will be crazy, who will feed your family?”
OVD-Info: You first said that this time it was more dead when they delayed that you were not beaten. And before that you were often detained?
Dmitry Monakhov: Yes, almost always. The last time on Manezhnaya Square, after the sentence to Alexei Navalny on Kirovles.
O-I: In principle, you think that this happens to everyone, or is it any specific aggression from the police?
DM: I don’t know how to the rest, but I'm just heavy - I still need to convey me.
O-i: So they have such a sports interest in them?
DM: Here they start to wring your hand, they are curly hacked, but it does not hurt. Try to break. I am sitting, I do nothing, so he breaks, twists and twists, but she does not break. Well, no. He becomes a shame - he is in uniform, damn it, a big man. He begins to give under the ribs.
O-and: So it cannot be connected with your behavior?
DM: Here, come on, take me. Let's. As you want .. There is no legal requirement yet, I won’t go anywhere. All - come on, hands start to twist, try to twist, I do not break, do not run away, try to spin. This time, too, they tried to break their hands, it did not work out very much.
O-I: But is this story of last year with the arena? (Protest of protest against the sentence to Alexei Navalny in the “Kirovles case” - approx.) How did it end in the end? How is the court?
DM: Ilnur Sharapov must clarify what stage it is now ...
The cops wrote that the picture where they beat me in the face, it actually does not beat me, and he pushes his hand away from me so that I would not bit him. I don’t know how they motivate the fact that they drag me by the hair - probably so that I don’t bite it, I don’t know. They had to conduct an examination to establish whether such blows could cause such damage.
O-I: So you had a full-fledged examination?
DM: I had to be, I just did not participate in this.
O-and: did you shoot the beatings?
DM: Yes, I went to the hospital right away that evening, because I was with a broken head. On the neck, on the hands, there were damage on the face.
O-and: Now what is happening with this story? Faith in miracles
DM: This is somehow sluggish. As far as I understand, Ilnura is in every possible way, he is trying in every possible way to somehow bring this matter.
O-I: Communication with the prosecutor’s office is going on or with the Investigative Committee?
DM: I am a specific situation - where did the document come from - I don’t know. When we were at the appeal, he told me this business. There is a sluggish attempt to force them to initiate a matter - the matter was not opened. As far as I understand, everything is in the stage of verification.
O-and: pre-investigation? Which leads ...
DM: Yes, the Investigative Committee, we went there, I told everything there, showed the video, showed the pictures ... From that moment, since last year, I have not gone anywhere, somehow I was engaged in work, and then it was already boiling. It’s impossible further, you can ignore everything, but so that it is ... already, I think, that's it. You can’t wait anymore.
O-I: And before that, how often?
DM: Also not particularly, in fact. Somewhere in 2010 it seemed to me that I could change something, I went there on the 31st, here before the December elections I went to the Triumphal Square every week. I missed one week-there was something at work. My comrades from the ATS call me and say: "Listen, they lost you in the police department." So, they already had a list of offenders who shouted something, and the fact that there is no monkov and he sits at work is not important at all.
O-and: How did it happen?
DM: Once again - they approximately know the list of participants, they have already drawn up protocols for all, everything is ready.
O-and: How many times have you already started before, what did they compose?
DM: A couple of times. Each time this action took place on Thursdays.
O-I: It was a weekly event before the elections.
DM: Everyone is usually delivered to the assembly hall, and documents are drawn from the assembly hall. So they say: "Monks!" - “What monks? No Monakhov. " - "Where? Where did you run away? "
O-i: So you have already been recorded as a detainee?
DM: Yes, of course. I was detained, I participated, I chanted, disobedience. A citizen of monks disappeared somewhere ...
O-and: How is it over?
DM: Yes, nothing, I think, broke and threw it away. They have enough detainees. They, so to speak, were optimized.
Oh: there is a feeling that something has changed in how cops behave compared to how it was then? Did you start with the "Marshy of the Disagnower" or with the Strategy-31? Strategy-31: Death or other life?
DM: No, no. I have not yet gone to the "marches of disagreements" ... Oh, it was so long ago ... No, this is 2010, I had not even tried before. It was not at all interesting to me, it seemed to me that it was about nothing at all. I just lived in parallel reality, in which politics did not exist at all. When I already went to the triumphal square at least to see what it was, I, gently, was surprised. After the presidential election, in fact, I somehow became so sad, I was at first an observer, then in the security group, which was the day after the election at the rally. I didn’t get enough sleep, so tired that I spat on everything, I thought that there was nothing to catch anything here for the next few years, all these rallies, I am afraid, would not lead to anything. You can walk, but there is not much sense. Therefore, I was not even disappointed even in Moscow on the 6th (May 6, 2012 on Bolotnaya Square-a clash between the police and the protesters-approx.
Oh: what has changed in the actions of the police?
DM: Yes, as it was, it remained. There was the only point - March 31, 2011, when the law was adopted on March 1, I actually have a birthday on March 1, so my birthday is now a day of the public law and the day when the Council of Council issued permission to Vladimir Vladimirovich invading Ukraine - excellent, I am just grateful to our homeland for such holidays. This was the only time when they even tried something, also in a kind of form, when they dragged me, they asked: "Are you disabled?" - No. - "Are you pregnant?" - No. - "Will you call?" - No. This is how they read my rights to me.
DM: Yes.
