The project "Medusa" launched

Today, on October 20, under the leadership of the former editor-in-chief of Lenta.ru, Galina Timchenko began the work of an independent information online project Medusa.

Also, Medusa mobile applications have become available today, and versions for tablets will soon appear, Interfax reports .

On the Meduza.io website there are five sections-“News” (general news aggregator), “Topics” (a selection of news related to the main topic of the day), “Card index” (systematized information reports on pressing issues), “Articles” (information and analytical materials) and “Shato” (non-political news).

“We choose the most important news for you and prepare the best texts about what is happening in Russia and the world. We advocate the freedom of dissemination of information. We squeamishly treat the interests of officials and large businesses, despise propaganda and jeans, and journalism of opinions prefer journalism of the fact. We only write about what is really important, ”its creators write about the project.

The editor -in -chief of Medusa Galina Timchenko for ten years headed Lent.ru. In March 2014, she was dismissed by the owner of the united company of the Afisha-Rabler-Sup company Alexander Mamut. Following Timchenko, dozens of employees left from Lenti.ru, some of them - Ivan Kolpakov, Dmitry Tomilov, Andrei Kozenko, Ilya Azar, Daniil Turovsky - now work in Medusa.
