On October 27, the Basmanny Court of Moscow will consider a petition from the investigation to extend the arrest of Ukrainian pilot Nadezhda Savchenko, RIA Novosti reports , citing court spokeswoman Anna Fadeeva. “The investigation has received a petition to extend Savchenko’s preventive measure in the form of detention, it is scheduled for consideration on October 27,” the spokeswoman said.
Ukrainian serviceman Nadezhda Savchenko is accused of adjusting the firepower of the Aidar volunteer battalion on June 17, 2014, near the village of Metalist, Luhansk region of Ukraine, as a result of which journalists of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin were killed.
On October 13, Savchenko was sent to the Serbsky Institute for a comprehensive inpatient psychological and psychological examination.
