Lyudmila Bogatenkova, 73, was detained on October 17 in Budyonnovsk after a search of the office of the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers. She was charged under part 3 of article 159 of the Criminal Code - fraud on a large scale. On the evening of October 18, Bogatenkova was transferred to the Pyatigorsk pre-trial detention center "White Swan".
