On October 21, a video was published online, the author of which captured how a waterfall on a mountain river in Derbyshire, due to strong winds, dissipates in the air without reaching the ground.
The video was filmed on the River Kinder, which flows through the highlands of the Peak District in north Derbyshire in the UK. The cameraman stopped at the point where, in good weather, the water falls down from a height of about 24 meters, and was able to film how the hurricane wind literally turns the waterfall back.
Within a day, the video in different copies collected over 250 thousand views on YouTube.
On the Internet you can find several dozen videos that also capture the waterfall on the Kinder River under strong winds. However, they did not gain such popularity: probably because they were taken in a less strong wind, dissipating only part of the water.
Thanks for the tip .
