Daniil Konstantinov noticed surveillance in Thailand

The former leader of the nationalist organization of the Moscow Defense League Daniil Konstantinov, who left Russia for security reasons, said that he might survive. The activist, who is currently in Thailand, told the Open Russia project about this.

Konstantinov fears that a provocation can be committed against him, and calls the surveillance of "demonstrative."

“There is reason to fear provocations right here. Drug tossing or something else. I warn everyone about it,” he said.

Daniil Konstantinov noted that he was observed by "faces of European appearance, talking in Russian."

On October 16, Konstantinov was released from custody in the meeting room of the Chertanovsky court of Moscow. He was accused of killing 23-year-old Alexei Temnikov in December 2011. On the day of the sentence, the court re -qualified the charge from the murder of hooliganism. Daniil Konstantinov was sentenced to three years in the colony and amnestied on the same day.

Konstantinov did not admit his guilt in the murder and stated that at the time of the crime he was in another place.
