The Ministry of Culture will create a single information space

In 2015, the Ministry of Culture intends to organize a single information space in the field of culture (Eipsk) on the Internet.

The tender for the creation of Eipsk worth 23 million rubles was won by Media Service LLC, which, as Izvestia told in the Ministry of Culture, “has experience in developing Internet projects in the field of culture, sports, education and youth policy”.

The development of an information system has already begun, which can process data on various fields of activity in the field of culture and tourism, provide consolidated statistics and the possibility of monitoring information in real time.

Eipsk will unite the existing sites of institutions and cultural organizations in Russia, where relevant information is published and there are archives of previously published materials, as well as sites of regional ministries and departments of culture.

The Ministry of Culture explained that the creation of a single Internet portal "will improve the quality of information and the volume of the audience." For example, the user, by introducing the exhibition of interest to him, will be able to get information about all the exhibitions related to this topic that are held in Russian museums.

In addition, they hope in the Ministry of Culture, Eipsk will be able to solve the problem of insufficient "volume of information about events and services in the field of culture in information channels, social networks, search engines and mobile services."

The long -term task of Eipsk is to join the Russian regions to the “general cultural processes and the preservation of the unified cultural space of the Russian Federation”, as well as “the growth of the awareness of citizens, which will subsequently serve new groups of the population in general cultural processes”.

The project participants will be “all cultural institutions interested in promoting their services and popularizing cultural heritage”. The pilot introduction of Eipsk is planned in the Moscow, Kaluga and Belgorod regions.
