China sends an elite army unit to Liberia to combat Ebola, reports Reuters with reference to the Chinese Foreign Ministry. The Chinese military will build a 100 beds in Liberia, which will be ready to work for a month, said the general director of the Department of Relations with the Africa of the Chinese Foreign Ministry Lin Suntyan.

China is the largest trading partner of African countries. At the moment, China has transferred 750 million yuan ($ 123 million) to 13 African countries and international organizations fighting Ebola. Lin Suntyan also stated that China will continue to help Africa until the disease outbreak is completely destroyed.

Earlier in the White House, the capabilities of China and Russia to combat Ebola were unflattering. White House spokesman Josh Ernest, commenting on the US efforts to combat the disease, defined China and Russia as countries that are not able to lead the efforts of the international community aimed at eliminating Ebola.

As the representative of the White House assured, there is no other government in the international arena that would take on obligations similar to those that the United States took to stop the outbreak of illness in West Africa.
