At the crash site of Boeing in the Donetsk region, new human remains were discovered

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte stated on October 31 that at the site of the Boeing 777 plane crash, which occurred on July 17 in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, new human remains were found.

According to the online publication of Nieuws.nl , the remains were discovered by the combined search and rescue group, which includes specialists from the Netherlands, Ukraine and the OSCE. The remains were found in the field, next to the charred parts of the fallen airliner.

After discovery, the human remains were delivered to Kharkov to conduct a "initial check". Subsequently, according to previously reached international agreements, they will be sent to the Netherlands for a full -fledged examination.

As a result of the crash, 283 passengers and 15 crew members died. According to the online publication NU.NL , the process of identifying the victims of the tragedy is currently ongoing. This week managed to identify four more citizens of the Netherlands. In addition to the Dutch, there were citizens of Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, Philippines, Canada and New Zealand on board Boeing.

What caused the crash of the aircraft is still reliably not known. During the investigation , part of the fuselage was discovered, dotted with torn openings of a small diameter. Some of the journalists believe that these are traces of shrapna from the Earth-to-Avo rocket. As experts noted, damage indicates that the liner impressed the rocket near the front cargo compartment.

The authorities of Ukraine believe that the separatists of the Donetsk People’s Republic are guilty of disaster. However, they, in turn, claim that they do not have air defense systems that could bring down the aircraft at such a height. According to the separatists, it was a provocation organized by the Ukrainian authorities.
