Kirill Serebrennikov will perform in House 12

On November 5, in the Moscow Club “House 12”, theater director, the artistic director of Gogol Center, Kirill Serebrennikov, will recall and read his most beloved poems in the framework of the Code of the evenings “Poems about Me”, which is held with the support of Coleta.ru, the publishers of Corpus and the Interview magazine.

Kirill Serebrennikov (b. 1969) graduated from the University of Rostov (1992), since 1994 he began to stake up in the dramatic theaters of Rostov-on-Don, since 2000 he has been working in Moscow, where he made his debut in the center of dramaturgy and directings by the play "Plasticine" based on the play by V. Sigarev.

In 2002-2013 he worked at the Moscow Art Theater. A.P. Chekhov (performances “Terrorism” and “Picting the victim”, “Meshchang”, “Forest”, “gentlemen Golovlev”, “Podushka man” and others. Among the productions of Serebrennikov in other theaters are “Frank Polaroid pictures”, “Sweet-haired bird of youth”, “Naked pioneer”, “Podonol”.

In 2012, Serebrennikov issued an acting and director’s course at the Moscow Art Theater School, on the basis of which the Seventh Studio was created, which later became one of the residents of the Gogol Center. He worked a lot in cinema and on television. The director of the films “Presenting the sacrifice”, “Bed scenes”, “Yuryev day”, “A short circuit” (short stories “Kiss of shrimp”), “treason”, TV shows “Rostov-Papa”, “The Diary of the killer”.

“Poems about me in house 12” are meetings with people without whom it is impossible to imagine today's cultural landscape, artists, poets, musicians, journalists - who will tell about their favorite verses and read them. The program is dedicated to the writer and journalist Peter Weil, who would have turned 65 this year. “Poems about me” is the name of his book, which included 55 of the most important poems of the twentieth century and thoughts about them.
