2010 Mass murder in Kushchevskaya

Four years ago, on the evening of November 4, 2010, there was a mass murder in the village of Kushchevskaya, Krasnodar Territory. The families of local farmer Server Ametov and his friend, businessman Vladimir Mironenko, were killed. A total of 12 people died, including four children. In the village at that time there was a film crew of the program "Wait for me" of the First Channel, which contributed to the wide resonance of the crime.

Criminal authorities of the Krasnodar Territory handed over to law enforcement agencies the organizers and perpetrators of the murder - the leader of the Kushchevskaya organized criminal group Sergey Tsapok and his gang, which had close ties with law enforcement agencies. Sergei Tsapok, who was sentenced to life imprisonment along with the other two participants in the murder, Vladimir Alekseev and Igor Chernykh, died in prison on July 7, 2014. Chernykh committed suicide three days earlier. It is interesting that Sergei Tsapok was a deputy of the district council, was a member of the United Russia party and was a candidate of sociological sciences (he was deprived of his degree during the investigation).
