The final decision on the fate of the monument, however, has not yet been made. The holding administration wants to first find out the opinion of citizens on this subject. To this end, she launched an open vote at the Ruxpert forum.

As of 19:15 Tuesday, more than 2.5 thousand users voted. 42 percent of them advocated returning the monument to the place - to the technopark of St. Petersburg University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics. Only 18 percent of users voted for the destruction of the monument. Another 12 percent is considered necessary for the monument to be sent to the warehouse, at 29 percent - to be sent to the USA, to Apple Corporation. Thus, those who want to return the monument to the place are the majority.

Voting is held until late in the evening of Thursday. The final decision on the fate of the ZEFS monument plans to make before December 1.

By the same time - December 1 - the holding intends to establish "mass rewards" for Russian citizens who will publicly announce the refusal of the use of Apple devices.

The monument to Jobs was opened in January 2013 at the initiative of Maxim Dolgopolov, who heads the board of directors of Zefsa - this particular holding belongs to the technopark. The monument is made in the form of a two -meter height of the iPhone, which is equipped with a touch screen that provides information about the Apple base. On the back of the monument is placed a QR code, by which you can go to a site dedicated to Jobs.

The dismantling of the monument became known on Monday . According to ZEFS, the monument was demolished in accordance with the Law on Propaganda of "Non -traditional Sexual Relations." On October 30, Tim Cook, who headed Apple in 2011 after Jobs’s resignation, said in his replica on the Businessweek website that he was a homosexual and is proud of it.
