A wonderful Saturday day of October 11, while Moscow was warming in the last rays of the warm autumn sun, hundreds of worried parents, grandfathers and grandmothers, teachers and children gathered on Suvorov Square. All of them-from a schoolboy to the academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences-came to the rally “In Defense of Moscow Education”, organized by the trade union of the boarding school “Intellectual”.
“When one of the police officers asked about what a rally about , and he heard that in defense of education , he weightily said : “ This is a matter , ” said one of the organizers of the rally, an intellectual teacher, Alexei Makarov. From his pocket, he paid 23 thousand rubles for the event that there was a good sound at the event, and then a box with a portrait of Einstein, in which donations were collected, so that this money was at least partially returned to him. According to the calculations of the rally organizers, about one and a half thousand gathered for it. In any case, the rally resolution was signed by 1016 people. Already on Monday, October 13, this document entered the metropolitan city hall. The rally was attended by people with disabilities, so all the performances were accompanied by a bureau. The action began with the speech of the leading rally, co -chair of the Teacher’s trade union Vsevolod Lukhovitsky. He spoke about the situation in the "Intellectual", where he works himself, and also outlined the scale of the "modernization of Moscow education." According to him, since 2010, out of 2000 schools, 700 school complexes have remained. As a result of the merger, all these schools were “led to a common denominator”, and the “equality” slogan is understood as “the same”. “Either we will merge us, or we will be able to stop this reform. For a long time, our educational authorities did not meet such a protest, ”he emphasized.
Ksenia Alfierova, actress, co -founder of the I am, continued, continued the rally, who noted that this rally is the first in her life. She opposed the “personality referens” and spoke about her meeting with the head of the Moscow Department of Education Isaac Kalina, who, it seems, was not bothered by the fate of children with the characteristics of development or the individual fate of children, but only defending the Pupil - Standard - Standard - Standard - Standard. Problems of inclusive education and correctional schools were more than once affected at the rally. The honored artist of Russia, the chairman of the board of trustees of the Fund for Assisting the Enjoy and Visual Children at the Call of the Heart, expressed her opinion on this subject. Diana Gurtskaya. She shared her personal experience in a correctional school.
The rally lasted a little more than two hours. During this time, representatives of various schools, parents, human rights activists, actors, publicists, deputies and even doctors performed. Someone made proposals, someone expressed dissatisfaction, someone simply empathized and supported. Flags, posters with slogans, pieces of paper with inscriptions “SOS” soared above the square.
School teams, students and parents are not going to dwell on this. New public programs are being prepared, single pickets are being held, and associations of like -minded people are organized to discuss plans. The rally ended with the performance of the famous song by Alexei Ivashchenko performed by Mikhail Gantman, teacher of the Intellectual:
It is better to be full than hungry . It is better to live in peace than in anger . It is better to be necessary than free . I know this by myself .
