Vyacheslav Murugov leaves CTC Media

“National Media Group” (NMG) Yuri Kovalchuk and CTC Media holding create a joint company for the production of television shows and TV shows, which will be headed by the current CTC Media Producer and CTC CEO Vyacheslav Murugov.

The new company will begin to work in early 2015, Vedomosti reports with reference to the heads of several producer companies. According to them, Murugov will remain an adviser to the general director of the holding.

The new company will engage in the production of content primarily for channels included in the NMG or affiliated with it (Fifth Canal, REN TV, CTC, Home, Perez, CTC Love , Channel One).

In the spring, NMG acquired the control package of Art Pictures Studio Fedor Bondarchuk and Dmitry Rudovsky. In addition, CTC Media has been negotiating for the second year on the possible purchase of several production companies (such as Yellow, Black and White and Amedia).

Murugov has been operating in CTC Media since 2005, in 2008 he was appointed General Producer of the Holding and the CEO of CTC.
