"Echo" will break through the knee
The dismissal of the journalist "Echo of Moscow" Alexander Poyshchev marks a new stage in the relations of the authorities and the media. Prior to this, almost everything was: NTV killed on official conversations about a dispute between commercial entities and the deep contradictions between the freedom of the media and property rights. "Rain" strangle telephone law, disconnecting from the operators and expelling from the room. Well, yes, the “hedgehog”, “faces” and “Kasparov.ru” were blocked for no explanation of the reasons, but there was even a tiny fig leaf of the end that they tried to cover the shame of arbitrariness. Yes, the leaf was small, the striptease turned out in the end, but Roskomnadzor and the Prosecutor General’s Office at least tried to hide behind.
With Poyshchev, no one tried to hide behind even the appearance of the law and decency. At first, a certain lady, Ekaterina Pavlova, who was appointed by the CEO of Echo half a year ago and soon, they say, will be taken to increase - this lady called Alexander Poychev, who has been working on Echo for more than 20 years, the laureate of the Prize Popov in the field of broadcasting and a bunch of all sorts of bonuses in different areas of journalism. So this lady, Ekaterina Pavlova, announced Poychev that he was fired. Right from the moment the words "you are fired."
The charter of the echo of Moscow leaves no opportunity to interpret this event other than lawlessness. You can dismiss the Echo journalist only on the proposal of the editor -in -chief. Venediktov did not submit such a performance and did not agree with the dismissal of Poychev, which he instantly and very publicly stated. Immediately, the reaction of the main “watchman”, that is, the chief initiator of the dismissal of journalist Mikhail Lesin, who stated that if Venediktov did not fire Plyushchev, he would do this, Lesin, followed. And he added that if Venediktov does not agree to remove Plyushchev, then the case may end in the resignation of Venediktov himself. Then a marvelous phrase followed. When asked by the journalist, according to which article of the Labor Code will be dismissed by Venediktov, Lesin explained that "this is lawyers to figure it out."
Lesin, of course, did not read the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Law “On Media”, which states that “the founder is not entitled to intervene in the activities of the media” (Article 18) that “the editors carries out its activities on the basis of professional independence” (Article 19) and much more about the rights and obligations of the journalist. Lesin never lived in the world of law. Neither when he was a direct participant in the destruction of NTV, nor in other numerous episodes of his violent biography. After all, he is from the breed of those state businessmen who are accustomed to strangle competitors with administrative methods and are always ready to apply the forbidden power reception, to break an intractable partner through the knee. For excessive activity in doing business under the guise of civil service, Lesin was fired in 2009. Now is his time. The time of state lawlessness in the media.
The stars over the “echo” agreed that 9 out of 10 participants in the political process and 99% of those who call themselves journalists are interested in the elimination of this radio station and work in state and media affiliated with the state. “Echo” is the only media where a massive listener and reader can find a point of view that differs from the one that reigns non -alternatively on all federal channels and in all mass media.
“Echo”, unlike a dozen other media, professing the principle of editorial independence, is a rather noticeable player on the Russian media sex and, of course, the most influential radio in Russia, if you focus on the totality of indicators, such as citation index, average duration of the radio listening, etc. The fact that it is necessary to urgently cleanse the Russian air of this betrayal is constantly being said by Solovyov, Kiselev, as well as numerous deputies of the State Duma and mediatized "experts". And now a moment has come for them. “Echo” and personally Venediktov substituted and drove themselves into a trap.
Two claims to Alexander Poychev. Firstly, he led that “forbidden” broadcast on the situation at the Donetsk airport, for which Echo received a warning. And secondly, an entry on Twitter. Naturally, I read the transcript of the “prohibited” broadcast, in which, according to Roskomnadzor, there was an “justification for war crimes”. Undoubtedly, Roskomnadzor is right, forcing the “echo” to remove this broadcast and its transcript from the site. Because the journalists who visited the airport saw people there, not the Nazis. Normal people speaking exclusively in Russian, but protecting their homeland, Ukraine. If you defend Ukraine are a war crime, then the guests of the Echo justified this crime, and Poyshchev has never called for order. And no one, including Plyushchev, at that moment never offered to take Kyiv and hang Poroshenko with Yatsenyuk, as is usually done on federal television channels. So Poyshchev was still easily escaped.
The second misconduct of Poyshchev, most likely, was even heavier than the first. He asked on his twitter whether his subscribers consider the death of the son of Ivanov, who knocked down the old woman and his son -in -law, proof of the existence of God/higher justice. The vigilant municipal deputy Maxim Katz immediately appealed to Venediktov for clarification, especially Katsu was interested in the consequences. Now the deputy Katsu probably got better. It is curious, then, after the tragedy of May 20, 2005, when the son of Sergei Ivanov, at that time of the Minister of Defense, and now the head of the presidential administration, knocked out the elderly woman at a pedestrian crossing, and then his father mobilized all the resources of his native ministry and other law enforcement agencies to yell the blood and condemn the innocent, then the intensely moral feeling of Katsu deputy also Was he got hurt and he also actively achieved justice? As for Mikhail Lesin, who explained that the dismissal of Poyshchev was “connected with morality”, the word “morality” sounds so grotesque in the lips of Mikhail Yuryevich that you just want to fix it and do without comment.
As for the “immorality” of the question, which Poyshche in his blog (that is, in his personal diary, and not when performing journalistic work on Echo), set his subscribers, the journalist himself almost immediately removed this record and apologized, and secondly, the parallel is clearly traced here with the question of the “rain” on the blockade of Leningrad, which served as the reason for the failure to defeat TV channel. Yes, that survey was quite “crooked”, however, like 99% of all other polls that the media conduct on the air. It is possible to speculate about the admissibility of expression of some satisfaction from the death of a person who, having killed the elderly woman nine years ago, was vilely and cowardly covered by his fatherly resource to avoid responsibility. Probably, Poyshchev did not act as a good Christian. And good Christians could condemn him. But only in another country. Not in the one where they remember the right when it is necessary to squeeze out the business or punish the dissenter. Not in the one where 99% of federal media commit crimes daily, seven days a week, inciting and organizing the war of their country against a neighboring state. "Echo of Moscow" decided to break through the knee. They will succeed for 100 percent if the remnants of what is called journalism in Russia and in general all living things in the country will not defend one of the few phenomena that delayed us in a rapid movement towards the DPRK. There is reason to believe that “echo” is among such phenomena.
