Moscow Bohemia reads poems about time and about himself. The project is based on the idea and book of Peter Vile
One of the last books of Peter Vile is called "Poems about me", in it he talked about verses that changed his life. The Corpus publishing house has released "Poems about me" with a disk: Vale reads these verses and comments on them. This year, Vail would have turned 65 years old, and, recalling him, the publishing house arranges weekly readings in the Moscow Cafe "House 12" in Mansurovsky Lane.
12 poets, artists, artists will tell what their personal scum is. Here is an excerpt from the speech of Sergei Gandlevsky:
-It seems to me that this is a wonderful idea, and I am grateful to my wife Lavut, Might Borisova, the publishing house Corpus (I apologize, I must have forgotten someone), thus honor the memory of Peter Weil, this undertaking, a wonderful book. It seems that I managed quite successfully with a sense of envy, but here I drew attention to the fact that I envy exactly the simplicity and self-evidence of the course-and when he wrote this book, and to many of his friends, including me, sent some chapters. How it never occurred to me, it lies on the surface! All reading poetry people can put their biography on some small anchors of poetic attachments. However, music lovers can do this. But he was the first, so this is his thought, and to arrange such evenings of his memory - a wonderful undertaking. He generally loved all sorts of ratings, "golden dozens", "silver twenties." I can’t stand all this. Well, I don’t know, the 20 best landscapes-when, in what mood, to whom ... For example, I am very attached to our country landscapes, although I probably understand that some alpine are no worse. And this is directly related to, of course, to estimates of art.
Sergei Gandlevsky read twelve poems written in the twentieth century, starting with Bloc and ending with Leo Losev. He suggested that Alexander Galich’s “queen” of the mainland. We chose from the evening of Gandlevsky the poems of Osip Mandelstam of 1931, "Save my speech forever ..."

- The poem is wonderful and very unequivocal, or something, revealing in relation to Soviet power, tone. But due to what is this done? In general, this is the proposal of the deal with the devil, it seems to me. The accuracy of this poem is revealed due to the fact that, unlike Soviet poets, things are called their proper names. Mandelstam offers cooperation to Tatars, to lower the princes with them at the Badya. In general, he says that "I am brought to extreme, and from loneliness, take me to my apprentice Palaki." This is what is written there. But the Soviet poet would write: how wonderful you are busy, let me be with you. And this one says: you are killers, but I'm so scared and so lonely that let me help you too. Rubinstein told me that in Hamburg there is such a street, a brothel, in essence, like in Amsterdam, and he saw a student page from a notebook there, plowed to the wall, on which was written in Polish handwriting: "I agree to everything for a ticket to Warsaw." And it seems to me that this is a poem by Mandelstam - this is "I agree to everything for a ticket to Warsaw."
The poet Eugene Lavut , the curator of the readings in "House 12", recalls that the project was invented at the first reading of poems at the opening of the cafe:
-Readings caused some incredible stream of people. Moreover, people who did not just come to eat and listen to poems at the same time: they calmed down when the microphone broke, they tried to hear something, understand something, and there were many those who would never have reached this place in any other situation. These "poems about me" are probably a cumulative effect. This is a great idea of Weil, which is so brilliant that, as Gandlevsky correctly said, to anyone who stumbles upon her, it is a shame that it did not arise it. When you, instead of talking from yourself, say the words of those who said better. And here we are trying to simply say about a person and about the time in which we found ourselves, and about how to deal with this, through poetry. Give the floor to those to whom we believe and give them the opportunity to say the most important things. The choice of Galich Gandlevsky does not seem random, he sounded surprisingly.
