© Sonora AuroraFrom November 23 to December 7, Moscow will be held in Moscow at the intersection of the past and future for the 80th anniversary of Alfred Schnita (1934-1998).
The festival program has six symphonic and chamber concerts in the Bolshoi and Rachmaninov halls of the Moscow Conservatory, as well as in the halls of the Moscow House of Composers, the Moscow State Institute of Music named after A.G. Schnitsky and the All -Russian Museum Association of Musical Culture named after M.I. Glinka.
The anniversary of the composer will be awarded the presentation of a new chamber orchestra named in his honor.
In addition, the program includes a two -day scientific conference, in which researchers of the work of Schnitsky from different cities of Russia will take part, and the presentation of new books about the composer (“The art world of Alfred Schnittke” E.I. Chigigareva, the collection of the articles “Alfred Schnitka”, release 9, “Problems of the content of musical works by A. Schnitka” by EM Akishina).
