The flagship smartphone LG G3 will be the first model that is not part of the Google Nexus line to receive an update of the Android operating system to version 5.0 Lollipop in the coming days, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta .

As noted in the message published on the website of the South Korean company, the owners of devices living in Poland are the first to receive updates.

"LG is the first global smartphone manufacturer, who will offer its users update to Lollipop in 2014. The updating of other LG devices will be announced later," the press release said.

According to the CEO of the company PAK Jung Sok, LG is always aimed at providing users with the best mobile support. Therefore, the priority of the company is the fastest update of the devices.

Park Jung Sok also noted that new functions and updates in Android 5.0 will significantly improve the use of smartphones: they will become even more convenient.
