Helikon-Opera together with Teatro Comunale puts opera Shostakovich

On November 17, the Moscow Musical Theater "Helikon-Opera" under the leadership of Dmitry Bertman begins work on a joint project with Teatro Comunale di Bologna-the production of the opera Shostakovich "Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk district."

The opera was delivered by Dmitry Bertman in Helicon-Ooper in 2000. The play “Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk district” received four “golden masks”, was represented in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Paris, Montpellier, Ravenne, Tallinn, Seoul, Tel Aviv and the target.

From the side of Gelikon-Opera, the art director of the theater and director of the performance Dmitry Bertman, as well as the authors of the scenography and costumes, Igor Telnoy and Tatyana Tulubeva, work on joint production .

In addition to the scene , Teatro Comunale provides its orchestra, which will be Vladimir Ponkin, and the choir, which will include four leading artist Helicon-Opera choir. Ilya Ilyin will lead the choir.

The Helikon-Opera soloists Elena Mikhailenko, Svetlana Creator, Ilya Govzic, Vadim Drinkle, Larisa Kostyuk, Ksenia Vyaznikova, Alexei Tikhomirov, Stas Shvets, Dmitry Ponomarev, Dmitry Skorikov, Alexander Miminoshvili, Mikhail Barkovskaya and others are involved in the play.

The performances will take place in Teatro Comunale 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10. All tickets have already been sold.
