The nominees "Golden Mask" are declared

Today, November 13, the nominees of the Russian National Theater Prize "Golden Mask" became known.

In the nomination “Drama/performance of a large form”, as well as in the directorial and acting nominations, two performances of Konstantin Bogomolov - “Gargantua and Pantagruel” in the Theater of Nations (Moscow) and “Karamazovs” in the Moscow Art Theater named after Chekhov. The last performance also claims to be the Golden Mask in the category of “drama/artist’s work”.

In two nominations in the opera category, the production of the Bolshoi Theater ( “Don Carlos” and “All Women, or the School of Lovers, and the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater ( “ Queen of the Indians ” and “ Nosferat ” ), among nominees for the prize, Directors Peter Sellar (“ Queen of the Indians ”), Vasily Barhatov (“ Ostello ”, Mariinsky Theater) received the production of the Bolshoi category. And Andrei Mighty ( “Tsarist Bride” , Mikhailovsky Theater).

The Golden Mask festival will be held in Moscow in the spring of 2015. The Golden Mask award ceremony will be held on April 18 at the Musical Theater. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko.
