The price of Brent oil for the first time since September 2010 fell below $ 80 - up to $ 79.82 per barrel, RIA Novosti reports.
The decline was $ 1.85, i.e. 2.3 percent. The US Treasury changed the forecast for the average oil price of this brand in 2015, reducing it by 21.57 percent. In January, according to forecasts, it will amount to $ 83.42 per barrel.
Further, the price will fall and by May will reach $ 81 per barrel. At the same time, in the second half of 2015, oil prices are expected to increase, and by December 2015 it will cost about $ 87 per barrel.
Other brands of raw materials also showed a fall. Oil of WTI varieties (Westhekhasky light) at auction in New York on Wednesday, November 12, fell by $ 0.76 (0.98 percent) to $ 77.8 per barrel.
Experts, according to experts, can be explained by the weakening of the global economy, as well as a decrease in consumer demand - oil from Libya, whose economy was destroyed, as well as an increase in oil production in the United States, has returned to the market.
