"For my part, I confirm that I have no aggressive in itself to fire Venediktov," he said. “Venediktov admitted that he was mistaken. And that’s all. If you were mistaken, correct it,” he added. Lesin also agreed that his order to dismiss journalist Alexander Poyshchev was illegal, as it was contrary to the Charter of the Echo of Moscow.
As a compromise, according to Lesin, Poyshchev could go on a two -month vacation. The editor -in -chief of Echo of Moscow Alexei Venediktov, commenting on Lesin’s proposal, said that the application signed by Poyshchev has already been received.
