On November 17, the Czech Republic and Slovakia celebrate 25 years since the beginning of the "velvet revolution." 8 days after the fall of the Berlin wall in Prague, a student anti -government demonstration was brutally dispersed. The next day, students occupied university premises, they were supported by actors of Prague theaters who declared a strike. Over the next days, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets.
