The court in Krasnodar extended to the organizer of the march for the federalization of the Kuban Daria Polyudova period of detention in the pre -trial detention center until January 21, 2015. This was announced on his Twitter by an activist of "Solidarity" and the ecological shift in the North Caucasus Viktor Chirikov. However, he did not give any details regarding the past meeting.

The previous meeting on the extension of Polyudov’s arrest took place on October 16 . The hearings were held closed - even the activist was not allowed into the hall. Then it was reported that the political prisoner does not plead guilty, and in the pre -trial detention center she was pressed by cellmates.

The appeal for the October decision on November 10 was rejected by the Krasnodar Chrysud . The prosecutor explained the need to leave Polyudov in a pre -trial detention center in particular by the fact that on November 5, a new episode appeared in the case against activist under article 280.1 of the Criminal Code (public calls for separatism). Meanwhile, neither the political prisoner itself nor her lawyer were notified of the new episode in the case.

Polyudova was detained on August 15 as a result of a police provocation and arrested for 14 days on charges of petty hooliganism. On August 29, at the end of the arrest, the activist was not released, but delivered to the pre-trial detention center-5 in Krasnodar, unofficially controlled by the FSB.

It soon became clear that Polyudova was arrested in two cases . The first was instituted under Part 2 of Article 280 (public calls for extremism via the Internet), the second - in part 2 of Article 280.1 of the Criminal Code (public calls for violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation via the Internet). The sanction for each of them is up to five years in the colony.

On September 25, it became known that Polyudova, like two other organizers of the march for the federalization of the Kuban - Vyacheslav Martynov and Petr Lyubchenkov, are included in Rosfinmonitoring in the list of terrorists and extremists . Both activists went to Ukraine at different times and asked for political asylum there. Lyubchenkov lives in Odessa, Martynov in Kharkov.
