
Russia is doomed to the development of high technologies related to aviation and astronautics. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Rogozin, whose words are quoted by TASS.
“This is a mandatory business card of a large and self -respecting country. Is there a future in aviation, astronautics, engineering? The answer is obvious, ”Rogozin added.
He noticed that without such technologies, Russia “will not be able to get off with a gas-neft needle,” and emphasized that it is necessary to prepare qualified specialists in this industry.
Rogozin separately touched the topic of the construction of the Vostochny cosmodrome, earlier the head of government Dmitry Medvedev pointed out to the lag behind the schedule in this project. The Deputy Prime Minister noticed that for December 2015 the first launches of satellites were outlined.
On November 17, Medvedev instructed Rogozin within a week to report on how the defects would be eliminated during the construction of the cosmodrome.
