The head of Russian Railways JSC Vladimir Yakunin said that he sold his country house in the village of Akulinino near Moscow, which bloggers reported about the fur storage.
In an interview with Gazeta.Ru, the head of Russian Railways said that he had bought a dacha at the suggestion of a friend. An acquaintance of the top manager, according to him, wanted to create a “village of the future”, where there would be “an appropriate team”.
“Then, when the contract was signed, the house was built, I sold it. Thanks to which I now have money in my account - in VTB, by the way, for those who are interested, otherwise they are interested in a lot of things, ”said Yakunin.
Now the head of the company, in his own words, lives in a service apartment, which belongs to Russian Railways.
Yakunin assured that he did not have a single fur coat and he "had never, to be honest, put on a fur coat." The entry was removed from the yaplakal.com website where it was originally posted, but opposition politician Alexei Navalny posted it on his blog.
